    I only wake up gasping for a quick breath just as im falling asleep. Like the exact moment ur out. Only happens if i fall asleep on my stomach and barely happens. Maybe a handful of times a yr, if that. Some would say it's some sort of response similar to jerking as falling asleep or an anxiety issue. Its weird

    This is caused by narrow palates narrow jaws and recessed jaws. All of which are caused by improper tongue posture from childhood into adulthood. CPAP is great for treating the symptoms but it is NOT a solution. The solution is expanding the palate and jaws and often MMA CCW jaw surgery that moves both jaws forward and rotates them counter clockwise

    I think flu and respiratory issues causes central apnea . Also when you’re sick and also stress due to regular stress topics or stress induced by too much stimulations such as watching disturbing social networks vids before sleep and etc , so your mind is like blocking respiratory process. Can anyone confirm my perception?

    I was recently diagnosed with central and obstructive (mostly central) sleep apnea. I was exhausted every day but, it was the headaches that got me in to see my doctor. I was waking up multiple times a night with absolutely horrendous headaches! Did both a home and in-lab sleep study. Turns out I was having 107 episodes per hour and my lowest oxygen level during sleep lab study was 66. Apparently, it never got above 82. So now, I'm trying to get used to my ASV machine. It's been a month now. Last night and the night before were the first times I was able to sleep through the night with my mask. Oh man, does it feel good to actually sleep!! Turns out, I had severe central and obstructive apnea and was extremely hypoxic. Damn! Good thing I got checked out!! My "events" are now down to 3-8 per hour. It varies. But, far better than 107!! Mine also has oxygen added.

    To suggest that someone would consider suicide because they have to much time on there hands during the night is just so damn insulting. Are you aware that for some people insomnia is a form of torture with no end in sight. This is why people consider suicide in the case of prolonged insomnia.

    • @Ennugia
      @Ennugia 7 месяцев назад

      That's exactly what it is. I feel they adjusted the results of their so called study until it fit their narrative. Chronic insomnia is an all day condition, you feel terrible day and night and could decide to "call it quits" at any time of the day. In fact I believe the most likely time to do so is early morning, after yet another unsuccessful night.

    No one is going to like to hear this but vaccines can cause mini strokes. Most vaccinated people have asymmetrical faces for this reason. And/or a squinty eye. Me included. My central sleep apnea started at age 15 after I took a tetanus shot to travel abroad for a school trip. NO ONE is studying this. Bells Palsy and Ramsay Hunt Syndrome have been listed as possible vaccine side effects but that’s because it’s noticeable to the patient. Internal involuntary functions not working properly due to a mini stroke in the brain…are never even considered by doctors as a possible side effect of a vaccine’s components crossing the blood brain barrier. Any pharmaceutical that crosses into the brain could potentially cause a mini stroke.

    UARS eventually leads to OSA .dr kasey Li is a fantastic Dr especially with his use of EASE , however he lacks versatility in his treatment of UARS/Sleep apnea . This is because he doesn’t use DISE .DISE is very important , because it reveals and gives the Dr an idea of the cause of sleep apnea/UARS . DISE reveals the site of obstruction.

    I am a Veteran. In 2009, VA sleep clinic diagmosed me with sleep apnea. In 2017, I needed replacement mask, etc. VA sleep docitr asked me to retake the test. I was also tested for narcolepsy. I told i have mild positional sleep apnea but told not to sleep on my back. I have shoulder surgeries and injuries thirty years ago. So, they denied me for CPAP mavine snd parts. I still had sleep issues. Fast forward, I had an urgent gallbladder removal surgery. Dyring that I had an hypercarbia event, on stroke watch, not able to awakened for some eight hours post op, had course tremors for two days and hospital observation for three days. They gave me asthma therapy every few hoyrs but never explained to me I had hypercarbia. I had to read it in my surgery report. Due to asthma breathing issues in prior surgeries, the anaesthesiogust said she ysed less than the minimum amount of anaesthesia. She gave me a letter to give any future surgeons. But VA never offered me my old CPAP therapy. Meanwhile the irher day, my partner has to watch me for stopped breathing. .
